This article is well worth a read because of the additional light it sheds on the complicity of British mainstream media is undermining democracy in the country they continually claim is a ‘bastion of democracy’! It also reinforces the extent to which, if any reinforcement is necessary, the ‘Lobby’ has managed to ‘insulate’ pretty much all the upper eschelons of British government from any anti-Israel/ Zionist leanings!

The article touches on the success of the Israeli #Apartheid government in ‘manufacturing’ & helping to resource a wide range of pro-Israel ‘astroturf’ civil society organisations as part of its strategy to counter the #BDS movement. “The Campaign Against Antisemitism (#CAA) recently took credit for persuading UK trade union #Unite to cancel the Bristol launch of Asa #Winstanley’s book ‘Weaponising Anti-Semitism’, alongside an associated screening of the film ‘Oh Jeremy Corbyn: The Big Lie’.

This was only the latest in a long series of attacks by the Israel lobby group [CAA] targeting the Palestine solidarity movement and the wider left [including boasting of ‘slaying’ then opposition #Labour Party @UKLabour leader Jeremy #Corbyn]

But The Electronic Intifada can today reveal that the CAA has been given almost half a million dollars by the UK partner of the Jewish National Fund (JNF), Israel’s quasi-governmental settler-colonial agency.”
