If you ignore ~75% of the ATAK features, the remaining features make a great hiking app. Alas, there is a learning curve.

Been looking at a few different flavours of self hosted #ATAK servers. I just want something simple to share packages and have about 10 friends connect. It seems the COTS concept is fairly easy but then every flavour massively overcomplicates end user enrollment. So much SSL bullshit. #itak #wintak #atakserver
