On the first day of Wintereenmas 2023, gaming gave to me:

A couple hours of Ultima Online.

This isn't too surprising, as I normally lose the 25th to cooking for Burns' Night. But I'm feeling a bit blue that I haven't determined which backlog game I want to try to beat for this year's celebrations.

Gonna need to scroll through my library again and hope something jumps out at me that I can conceivably beat before the end of the month without no-lifing too hard.

I made it, with a /reasonably/ mess-free handoff of my work responsibilities! Here's hoping I don't return to a horrid mess in February, but that's a problem for February Lucy.

I irregularly #stream #UltimaOnlineOutlands on #Twitch, but I want to move to #OwnCast with a dual-stream as the Fediverse fascinates me.

Every year, I near-religiously observe #Wintereenmas, a fictional holiday from a webcomic I no longer read. I use this to take a week off work and play games, with goals to beat something from my backlog and pull an all-nighter to prove to myself that I'm not getting too old. Last year, I beat "Drakan: Order of the Flame", and the year before that, "F.E.A.R."
