4/5 Canary Wharf winter lights - I'm a sucker for the Crossrail tunnel and have a lot of snaps of it, but this year's remake is particularly striking. I had to wait some time even to get this shot without too many people in it.

3/5 Canary Wharf winter lights. This was not the flashiest or most 'instagrammable' installation but I liked its subtlety and that it's modest in scale in a monumental area. (It's a greenhouse with projectors inside.)

1/5 Canary Wharf winter lights. I went to the Canary Wharf winter lights festival a couple of weeks ago. (It's closed now.)

This, I suppose, is the shot that was designed for Instagram. But I like the challenge of shooting at night and I'm pleased with how this turned out.

Herzog & de Meuron’s One Park Drive, Wood Wharf; before #WinterLights, as dusk fell; this was last, probably the most ostentatious, but it’s pretty damn impressive! London’s & Europe’s highest & most dense residential neighbourhood, I believe! #CanaryWharf #HerzogdeMeuron

Highlights of that are Yesterday evening I went to #WinterLights, an outdoor festival of light installations all around #CanaryWharf. I thought it was really impressive & enjoyable, & Amazingly busy; obviously REALLY popular for Art Installations! On a Cold, Winter Night as well!
