First time back on the slopes in three months since I broke my back. Absence, as they say, makes the heart grow fonder and thus today, finally skiing as a whole family again, was absolutely wonderful.

As the sun rose this weekend at #WinterPark, I rode the same trail a few times. I took these pictures about 25 minutes apart. It was a beautiful day. Bitterly cold before the #sunrise warmed things up.

It was a great, cold weekend out skiing with the Scout troop this weekend (Troop 78 in #Boulder, for those keeping track). I didn't take too many pictures because I was busy getting very tired indeed. Those of you who know me from the bird app know that I'm an avid #snowboard rider. #Steamboat has 5' of natural pre-season fluff to open the most terrain on opening day (11/23) in years. #winterpark triggered my powder alert this morning. #copper just opened more terrain today. And #I70 is crystal clear with no traffic.
WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS???? Headed up tomorrow.
