Have not attended a con for decades, but 
generally speaking, when it comes to one shots, I like #DCC funnels (#SailorsOnTheStarlessSea in particular), #TrophyDark incursions, the scenarios found in the #DeadPlanet module for #MothershipRPG, Hester‘s Mill for #TrophyGoldRPG, #WintersDaughter for #OSE … could add more

#shadowdark mit #WintersDaughter Fazit: Als Spielleiter ein Traum, Fackel timer funktionieren sehr gut, always on initiative ist ein tool und kein Gefängnis. Bin entschlossen: meine nächste Kampagne wird Shadowdark nutzen.

It's a little bit of a drag that they've made this decision about #dolmenwood. People who have been looking forward to using that setting with #OSE now have an extra ruleset lying around.

I really like the modular, small-book format they've been using, and Dolmenwood's #wintersdaughter fits in great with that. This change will certainly break that modularity.

I don't imagine this will be good for sales of the current OSE ruleset, either.

I can't speak for the #grimdark folks, but I sure love it. One of my favorite features of that economic aesthetic is that Gavin Norman seems committed to always putting everything you're likely to need on a single, 2-page spread. I haven't yet had a chance to use it at the table, but I expect that will speed things up.

Also had a chance to read #WintersDaughter from OSE's #dolmenwood setting. Its style manages to preserve the overall OSE aesthetic without being particularly cute.

@RPP_Cast Winter‘s Daughter habe ich schon dreimal oder so geleitet. Keeps on giving. Das Ding zeigt exemplarisch, wie sich durch einen Dungeon ganz verschiede Themen und Genres darstellen lassen. In diesem Fall: Märchen und romantische Fantasy mit einem Gran subtilem Grusel. #WintersDaughter zeigt Leuten, die meinen Dungeoncraws bestünden nur aus random Tür-auf-Falle-Monster-tot, wo der Hammer hängt. Der +1 Hammer, versteht sich. Sir Chyde + Princess Snowfall-at-Dusk = ♥️ #Osr ist Liebe 🫶
