Winter Storm watch for much of #NE. For our portion of the state we could see 4 to 8, with higher amounts out west [up to 10] & more ice than snow in southeast Nebr. [south of Lincoln]

I don't think the #meteorologists are taking into consideration the fact that this morning we gave my husband a second set of batteries for his snow blower, an extra long snow shovel (he's 6'3), and an extra long ice breaker. PSA for #Seattle area locals: we have another #WinterStormWatch up, expecting to run from 4pm this afternoon through Friday evening. They're saying up to 3 inches of snow _and_ up to a quarter inch of _ice_. So if this plays out as expected it's going to be messy.

Plan accordingly. If you have errands that need you to get out of the house, and your roads are clear enough from the last storm to do so, better do so _now_.

The text for the Winter Storm Watch I posted about earlier has been updated, it now says 2 to EIGHT inches, not seven, depending on your area. So if you live in higher elevations, be advised.

PSA to all #Seattle area locals: we have a Winter Storm Watch up, scheduled to kick in at 7pm tonight. The Watch text says two to seven inches of snow expected.
