Hahaha geil, so sieht es aus, wenn man eine AMIGA IPF Diskette ungeschützt nach ADF konvertiert und dann noch die verdammte Frechheit besitzt, das Spiel starten zu wollen.
Erwischt! Böser Raubkopierer!
...War natürlich nur ein Test, da SimCity zuvor noch vom IPF-Image einwandfrei gestartet werden konnte...
(SimCity ab v1.2 hatte übrigens keinen On-Disk-Kopierschutz mehr. Da wurden dann Codes aus dem Handbuch abgefragt.)

Recently, I've been playing around a bit with AMIGA IPF disk images and WinUAE 5. So far, everything seems to be working very well! AMIGA games look and feel a bit different from their MS-DOS counterparts, but that's why it's so much fun!
I just realized, I need to put a lot more effort into my AMIGA games collection!

60 followers · 332 posts · Server mastodon.unoDopo aver corretto un po' la palette generica che ho provato tempo fa mi sono messo a lavorare sul campo di battaglia e sulla gestione delle animazioni: nel breve video si vedono le posizioni dell'eroina e dei suo eventuali alleati a sinistra, mentre a destra ci saranno i nemici, da 1 fino ad un massimo di cinque :D
Video girato sotto #WinUAE che emula un #A1200 a velocità reale.

Not a real problem with adf-Files. But it's not a good idea to try "floppy emulation speed" to 800% when you make your first steps with real hardware using #GreaseweazleV4 under #WinUAE :)
Took a few moments until I realized the problem. Now it formats without any problems.

Windows gère très mal les noms de fichiers parfois farfelus, on va dire, de l'amiga :blobangery:
Par contre, aucun problème avec FS-UAE sous Linux ! 😉

Mamma mia che bei ricordi, così belli che ho iniziato a scrivere il codice per una specie di #actionrpg ... Chissà che ne uscirà fuori 😂
La sfida è altissima visto che ormai sono veramente troppo abituato all' #OOP e rimettersi a smanettare con gli Array per tirare su le strutture dati per un #rpg è divertentissimo e stimolante 😍
