From Groupware to Web 2.0 / Enterprise 2.0 to then Groupware 2.0 (= Chatting & Messaging Apps). All of that over the course of roughly 3 short decades.

Fast forward another decade to 2022/23 and Musk may have provoked, unintentionally, the 4th technology lifecycle shift: Open, Decentralised, Distributed #SocialTools.

Will it blend this time around? 🤔
