It's really truly crunch time for my PhD deadline, so last week I made the decision to switch up my routine.

Usually I get up around 6, do some stretching and make a mug of tea, and log into work at 6.30. Work until 3pm, then do life/kid/parent stuff. Evening meal around 6.30 unless the kids have sport or work, and then by 8.30, Kid3 and Kid4 are tucked into bed and I sit down to write.

But instead of writing, I yawn and yawn and get about 300 words done before nodding off.

So! From tomorrow, I'm getting up earlier so I can get the writing done early before I start work.

Hopefully this'll mean my evenings can just be for chilling and I'll actually get the thousands of words written that I need to write!
