I'm basically over my #Gunpla obsession but I spotted the HG #Gundam Ariel model at Target and I was tempted to get it. I didn't because I'm not in the right headspace to focus on model-making now. :blobStare:

But I think it'd be a fun first project for a #WitchFromMercury fan who's interested in trying out a model kit.

The HG series isn't too difficult for a beginner, no more challenging than LEGO. There were a bunch of them at my Target so hopefully they're not hard to find.

The ending to Mobile Suit Gubdan: The Witch from Mercury was not what I was expecting, but the epilogue was somewhat satisfying. It doesn't leave much room for a sequel, but maybe it doesn't need one. The plot would benefit from simplification. Too many twists and side characters. That giant space lazer thing came out of nowhere.

With a simpler plot we could've had more screen time dedicated to Suletta. I wanted to see her progress from squashing a man with no remorse to being horrified by war. It would've been better if she had the experience Guel did.

We're getting some pretty good action right now, but the season is almost over. I wonder if the finale is going to be a season finale or a series finale. I don't think there's enough time left to actually resolve all the plot points and if it really did just end this season it wouldn't be very satisfying at all.
