@3dcandy after discovering #tanzawa or previously #withknown or #microblog I can't appreciate blogging on WordPress, my WordPress is basically a front page to my CV and that's pretty much it.

I'm considering getting out of WordPress altogether and work more with static sites such as Hugo or Eleventy #11ty and have one spot for both my front page and blogging needs. After more than a decade of WordPress I'm tired, I find it bloated and target of thousand of vulnerability.

With fediverse support in Elgg under testing, and support in Known coming soon, soon someone on Elgg and Known could have a conversation with each other. I find that very satisfying. #fediverse #elgg #withknown #mybabies

afaik activitypub support is not implemented yet ... need some more reading and maybe a testinstance – sometimes looks like if considering "known", friendica would already make more sense hmmm
