Oooh. Was listening to Kermode and Mayo's Questions Schmestions (why yes, I'm a vanguardista and VLTL) and a question I sent in got read and answered. Hurrah!

I think this is the third or fourth time in my, hmmm, 25ish years of listening. All very exciting.

(It was a question about how little West African cinema is seen over here. Mark explained it was a distribution matter, which I thought was probably the case, but good to have it confirmed by an expert.)

@noksucow IKR? It was one of those "I think I'll be turning on all the lights for a bit" films. I listen to a really good movie podcast which is pretty reliable for recommending good films, rather than necessarily popular ones. They used to be on BBC but they've quit. The first15 years or so are at bbc.co.uk/wittertainment and the new ones are called Kermode and Mayo's Take. Definitely worth a listen 👍

Mark and Ben are spot on about #FlorencePugh in this week’s Take 2. Love the anecdote about her saying she was working on a “wrestling movie with The Rock”.

Shes absolutely stellar in everything and I really need to make sure I watch #LadyMacbeth at some point.
