Jeder weiß, dass getrickst wird, um #Euronorm und #WLTP schön zu reden. Die Verordnung ist ein Mittel des #Verbraucherschutzes, was die #Fahrzeughersteller zum eingeben Schutz den Kunden verschweigen.

Most of my mileage is between home and mothers and other sub30mile trips so phev is the way.
2..so I go and ask "when I fill the tank up and fully charge and set off, I can go over a 1000 miles on a full tank?" This is obviously fatuous nonsense so the #wltp figures are always going to be bollox.
Maybe spending the money on charging points and cafes would be the way to go...but then their donors wouldn't like it.

Anyone thinking of buying an #EV and using the #WLTP as part of their decision-making, needs to ensure they take a hefty wedge away from any stated efficiency or miles/kWh as you'll get nowhere near it when the weather is colder (or wet).
My #Kia #Niro EV in '4' spec has a WLTP of 285 miles. And I have the heat pump.
On a recent 196-mile journey, first half at between 0C and 5C, I got 3.2 miles/kWh.
Second half, as in the return trip, it was a little warmer at 8C and I achieved 3.8 miles/kWh.
Had it been under 5C for both legs I seriously believe I would need to have charged somewhere along the route. As you wouldn't want to risk running out.
As it was I arrived home with 14% SoC and 30 miles on the GoM. As low as I was comfortable with, to be honest.
WLTP is 285 miles.
In around 5C I would have been able to get a maximum of 228 miles assuming I was prepared to risk letting GoM go down to 0%.
I'm a careful driver and was never above 65mph on motorway parts of the journey.
At 100%, that's 271 km range.
That's not even close to the #WLTP 450km announced range.
Heck, I'm not even close to EV Database 360km "real range"
