Something reminded me earlier, about how my job used to feel useful, before most of my time was spent fixing/working around problems with data.

When I'd quite often find out that projects I'd contributed to were now directly, practically improving emergency care.

I wish I had that again. Or, failing that, I wish I was paid more. Shit pay, increasingly worthless job and no hope of anything getting better, that is a bad combination.

I am so tired of it.
