2 hours thinking it was software. In my pitiful-defence, I'd just updated to a new #Windows11 beta AND #Logitech options software had updated. But yeah, no.
2¼ hours finding new microswitches and screwdriver bits, and then the rest of the time pulling the trackball apart, and very destructively desoldering the old switch. It took 2 minutes after that.
Logitech's #soldering is far too fine and fiddly!

While doing a merge (no-ff, no-commit) between two branches (next and development), I stashed the results to run a quick hotfix commit. Somehow the hotfix commit shows two parents, one in next (as it should) and one in development (yikes).
Now I cannot run merge from development to next, as the head of next already references the head of development.
Is there a way to just remove that extra parent reference from last commit?
Or should I revert?
