@kittyc #shanheling #woh obviously bucked this trend, and from what I understand, that was precisely its appeal to a lot of people: that it was a danmei webnovel adaptation, but equally, clearly, wholeheartedly committed to the #wuxia genre.

2. Which fandoms are you in now?

The way I engage varies a bit, but I’d say I’m “in” #MDZS fandom, especially #cql , as well as in #WOH /#tyk , #doctorwho and (to an extent, still) Harry Potter.

Posted my first fic in a while, actually written a year ago. Still in a pretty alpha/rough stage but I think the concept is really good: Dune xover with Zhou Zishu as a Face Dancer and Wen Kexing as a Sardaukar Burseg. 4k words, explicit rating for a bit of porn in the middle but you can skip it if you want. I just *fistclench* love bioengineered shapeshifters.
