Brand new wok... followed some seasoning instructions from YouTube. Used light drizzles of sunflower oil. Had three goes at that, then fried-up and discarded a batch of ginger and green onions. So the fourth and final 'seasoning' was with that infused oil. It certainly looks the part!! 😂 Will be putting it to the test next week. 😋🤞 #Wok #Seasoning

Super quick and better than Chinese takeaway!
#Radishes are flash fried (<1min) in a #wok. Add some starch and water, the coarsely chopped greens of the radishes & chard, finely chopped #KaffirLime leaves, ginger and garlic. Add cooked noodles. The finer mie noodles are better than these! Season with five spice, dark/light soy sauce and sambal. Finish with some groundnut oil.
Adding ginger and garlic towards the end gives better, fresher aroma.

Moving to a place without gas soon. Anybody have a recommendation for a good propane/butane indoor wok burner?
@indianaclimate @Jantar That #induction #wok burner undoubtably works well but I was curious as to how well a standard #induction burner would work so I did a little experiment. With the wok on its ring, the burner gave its error code. I put the ring aside and set the wok right on the #cooktop. It worked. Only had it on 5 of 10 and it was boiling the oil. So maybe just a modified ring? But definitely an outside thing.
