Today's Flickr photo with the most hits shows Wolfgang Pohl: he joined the Wehrmacht in 1942, and was imprisoned for military disobedience in 1944. He was incarcerated in the concentration / labour camp at Dora-Mittelbau. He survived until the liberation.

The second photo shows him and his family in 1951.
