I came across this while searching tree types, I was blown away to think there is only one wild valley in the world with Wollemi trees. The last living remnants of a Jurasic era species of Pine.

I believe they are trying to repopulate the species around the world.

I grow #Wollemi pines - Wollemia nobilis - from seeds. #Wollemia is an ancient survivor, a member of the #Araucariaceae family (so not actually a pine), and critically endangered in the wild. I'll soon bring these ones indoors to protect them from frost. #WollemiPine #WollemiaWednesday
