#WomansHour has some interesting stuff today.

The bit on audio erotica was fascinating. I'm not sure my voice is quite good enough but the fact that I'll write great long messages on Grindr with huge amounts of detail while guys reply "Mmmmm sexy" and "Wow hot" makes me wonder if there's a male market for it that I could tap. Might be as simple as finding a decent sounding text to speech app.

#WomansHour getting fired up about whether the Christian god is male or female.

I'm all for white middle class English women taking over the church of England so their homophobic genocidal god can be referred to as She. That would be incredibly funny.

The little "and finally" question about CoE blessings same sex marriage has drawn some interesting responses from the guests. One saying eventually that the slippery slope of marrying divorcees in the church was the start. Of course she had to jump in after the other guest had spoken to point out that more details of her opinion could be read in the Telegraph.

I remember a writer being asked (maybe in the 1990s, maybe on #WomansHour) why, when the book was clearly set in ? Folkestone (UK) did she use an invented, not real name?
The author replied "because life's too short to deal with letters from readers pointing out that Character A could not have slipped on the cobbles as they had been taken up the year before, and FAR too short to do that level of research".
