A brilliant students, despite incredibly difficult personal situation, is writing an application to the RAEng.

Helping the best I can, but do I believe that they have a chance to get it? Not really...
Will the reviewer believe that you can find a future leader at UoD? Probably not...
The maintenance support will probably go to someone from a fancy uni who don't have to work as much to support themselves, but can write a little better...
