In the beginning they were less well equipped than they fellow male fighters, very often with equipment not attested for gladiators. But that changed also over the years. So we are on a good way, lets keep it up!

Today, 08th of March, is International Women's Day and one issue is that women fight, not only for equal pay, for acceptance in what they are doing. I encountered it very often in my life when doing something which usually men do or are thought you as a woman have to be 200% in that field to be accepted by the men. Luckily times have changed a bit over the years.
