I have a clothing question.

I love Levis 512 jeans. Unfortunately, my current pairs are getting old and Levis doesn't make 512s any more. So what I need to know is either 1) Does Levis currently make another jean that's a good substitute/ replacement? or 2) Does someone else make a jean that's a good 512 replacement?

I prefer straight legs, but a good boot cut is okay. And -- lets be honest -- I pretty much wear mom jeans. : )

Can anyone help me out here?

I bought my $SPOUSE a pair of overalls from Duluth Trading Company. In addition to looking cute and fitting, they have more pockets than she's ever had and some of the pockets pass the wine bottle test. Awesome!

This was initially a short toot to ask about finding numerically large sized women’s shoes, and to see if there was even anybody else out here in the same boat as me, but it has turned into a longer rambling post. Apologies.

As a self identifying Long Woman I have many thoughts and questions (mostly questions, but seeking thoughts) regarding finding cute clothing to fit a woman of long and narrow form factor such as myself, or ways to make the best of clothing that doesn’t perhaps fit the best. It would be great to hear from somebody with experience regarding specific vendors, brands, tips, techniques, etc, to accommodate a long pike/eel shaped woman with big feet.

My shoe size in women’s is 16. I wish I could shrink my feet, but alas, I cannot. I have done some basic internet searches but have not found many shoe choices I would feel comfortable buying.

My hope was that I might connect with other Long Women who in turn might perhaps connect with one another, and share resources and tips on finding affordable and good quality clothing to feel comfortable in. On the other hand, my reach is minuscule as a tiny account, and there may be too few Long Women to form any sort of useful collective network for information sharing.

It was a friends idea to create a Long Women hashtag (I think it is a clever idea, and don’t want to take credit), so hopefully other people might benefit from it. If women of other difficult to shop for form factors would like to be included, I am happy to extend the conversation to include other shapes and sizes. Feel free to jump on board in the comments. This just initially grew out of my own difficulty in finding clothes that fit.

Most specifically, I am asking for some help for trans women of atypical dimensions (atypical only with respect to the sizes and shapes of women’s clothing found in most stores—all the shapes and sizes are valid), who may have little to no experience shopping and dressing as a woman, to feel good and cute in their clothes. I am one of these people, but I suspect there are others.
