If we had gender equality in the UK, would the average state pension paid to men be equal to the average state pension for women at the same age ?

In the past, if not now, there was a tenancy for women to do more unpaid caring roles to the advantage of society, so if women's pensions are less it means the rules are wrong, and their contributions are not properly valued.

Is anybody trying to remove this bias, or are they too fixated on pension age ?
