27 years after the launch of the #WomensPrizeForFiction, #WomensPrizeForNonfiction will be introduced in 2024. Only 26.5% of non-fiction reviews in UK newspapers was allocated to female writers, 35.5% of non-fiction prizes over the past 10 years was awarded female writers, and the #GenderPayGap among writers has increased from 33.3% to 35.7%.
