' Japanese persimmon (Diospyros kaki) and Japanese white-eye (Zosterops japonicus)', a ca. 1910s woodblock print, 19.5 x 37.5 cm in size, by Ohara Koson (小原 古邨, 1877-1945), a Japanese painter and woodblock print designer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, who was part of the shin-hanga (new prints) art movement.
Ohara Koson was famous as a master of kachō-e (bird and flower) designs.
