I have a chaotic morning so I’d love to stand on one of my hometown Groningen’s bridges and muse into (unto?) the canal.

I have finished cutting the first layer of my first trial reduction #woodcut! Very exciting. Everything that is cut away will remain yellow. Then follows green, and blue for the dark shading.
Next up is getting the ten prints exactly right on the stamp. I have no press, so that will be something.

This is a very good day for finding some shade in a park, is it not? How about this lovely woodcut then? I tried a blunt knive for the wavy top, a finer for the grass on the bottom, and two different colours for this view of a park pond lined with trees and bushes. The erratic shadows in the pond are my favorite part.
