The rain comes pittering down,
Each droplet hitting the ground.
The cat seeks shelter amidst the logs,
To escape the raindrops, and the dogs.
Sat atop the timber, so neatly sawn,
She seeks small things, that creep and crawl,
She's wise to the tricks, of all the bugs,
But is lazily bored by the slugs.
