A roasty-toasty #walk on Epsom Downs and Langley Vale #today. Covered 10km in 2 hours and visited the Regiment of Trees. Loads of wild flowers, mainly daisies, amongst the trees. Fortunately lots of shaded sections through the wooded area kept me cool plus lots of hydration made for a pleasant morning's outing.

I haven't done this much physical work in about twenty years and am very knackered. Can someone please come around and bring me ice cream.

But, on the plus side, I should be be able to start volunteering soon. Removing rhododendrons from a nearby wood (part of which was once temporarily a landscaped garden) is likely to be the first big job. Hard work but necessary. I hope I can help.
