What is helpful does not always have to be beautiful 🙂

I have many of them in the basement and in the soil of my garden. I never kill them if they ever come in the house.
You can put a jar over them, slide a piece of cardboard underneath and bring them out. Very simple. 😀

I’ve been helping to transfer from one bin to another. We have three with compost at different stages of decomposition. It was great to see literally hundreds of and amongst the nascent soil, which to me indicates that the compost is healthy and will provide excellent nutrients to plants when used.
