In 1925 Frank Phillips built a ranch retreat, Woolaroc, on 3,700 acres in the Osage Hills in northern Oklahoma. Today it is a wildlife preserve, home to many species of native and exotic animals. There is also an amazing museum to explore. Woolaroc was derived from three words that described the area; woods, lakes and rocks.

I was wowed by the beauty of this #goat at first sight but had no idea what it was. I posted a picture on Instagram asking for help & tagged #Woolaroc in the post as that is where I saw it.
Shortly after Woolaroc commented, "a #Tahr Goat!! They have stayed hidden on the property for years, it's so good to see them on the main road!"

Being my first visit ever to this 3700 acre #Wildlife #Preserve in #Oklahoma, I felt blessed to have seen it!
