In 1925 Frank Phillips built a ranch retreat, Woolaroc, on 3,700 acres in the Osage Hills in northern Oklahoma. Today it is a wildlife preserve, home to many species of native and exotic animals. There is also an amazing museum to explore. Woolaroc was derived from three words that described the area; woods, lakes and rocks.

You travel a distance from the entrance of to the lodge & museum on a where you have time to look for the wildlife grazing in the fields just enjoy the beautiful landscape and lakes. In 1925 oilman Frank Phillips built a ranch retreat which is now a museum & preserve. The name Woolaroc was derived from woods, lakes and rocks

I was wowed by the beauty of this at first sight but had no idea what it was. I posted a picture on Instagram asking for help & tagged in the post as that is where I saw it.
Shortly after Woolaroc commented, "a Goat!! They have stayed hidden on the property for years, it's so good to see them on the main road!"

Being my first visit ever to this 3700 acre in , I felt blessed to have seen it!
