I #remember #Woolco #DepartmentStore was located at the old Town & Country shopping center in the 80s. Walmart took over the space after Woolco closed their stores. Now, Uptown shopping complex is there.

I remember my parents got us our first new clothes & their first Christmas decorations & presents from Woolco. They couldn't afford the Woodward's department store, which was located where Mayfair Mall is now. Woolco was similar to Zellers & most families would afford to shop there.
