I'm listening to a podcast on #Hillsong and am just amazed at how similarly all of these #cults act. The abuse (both physical and sexual), the control, the isolation, the financial and labor exploitation. In my own experience fighting against a cult (#WordOfFaith Fellowship) they used the exact same tactics. Same for #Scientology, #PeoplesTemple, etc.
