I was feeling low because the events of the past few months required me to delay some projects, which now will wrap this year instead of 2022 as intended. I wasn't where I wanted or expected to be.

But looking at the numbers, I had a pretty active year.

So no, my totals aren't what I wanted then to be, but that's okay. Life took a turn, and well... real life comes first, because although I'm a creator, I'm first and foremost a human.

I think my word for 2023 might be “deliverance”.
Not sure, because it’s an hour and a half till the end of 2022 here and looking back there were so many words I wanted to carry me through and none really fit.
2023, I both want to set myself free and rescue myself from me. And other stuff, but that’s outside my control so.
I also like the other definition of “formal or authoritative utterance”.

I'm sort of trying to write a blog post about it, but… I'm struggling to do so.

It's just been so much of a year. And remembering NYE of 2019, 2020, 2021 I dread the next one already. Every time I think it can't get worse, it somehow does.

BUT! Have you seen my previous toot about the new Storytellers cover? Priorities! Always look on the bright side of life. Because otherwise it just becomes real, and that's way too depressing.
