Just heard this on the radio and it took me back to my school-days. We read this in class

This may have been the poem that set me on course to becoming a writer. I love the interplay of the 'official' (the thing you're *supposed* to be doing) and the natural. It's subversive. It appealed to me as a 14 yr old
