After a trying couple of weeks, I completed a personal project today. Posting as therapy.
It's an #electronics #workbench, replacing a crappy folding plastic table I'd been using. Surface is #birch #plywood, with #cherry #hardwood for edging and a back lip so I can't push stuff off the back by accident. The shelves/racks for equipment are made of the same plywood and cherry.
Computer on arm for reference materials, and swings out of the way.

Jetzt läuft das seit einige Wochen bei mir und ich wollte #MySQL #Workbench installieren. Toll. Alles installiert als su und getestet - scheint alles zu funktionieren.
Abba niemand hat mir gesagt das es dann als normalo nicht funzt.
Soll jetzt irgendwas \etc chownen mit Soße im config. Keine Ahnung, ich glaub ich gebe erstmal auf weil zu dumm. 😭

Additionally supporting proper #Flatpak sandboxing via the camera portal is possible with little work using #libportal or #ashp and the `GstPipeWireDeviceProvider`. Feel free to ping me if you need help with this - there'll also be a new example in #workbench for this soon.

Ighhhh... This is a little embarrassing. I've had this #workbench for like 30 years, since I first took up #woodworking. There was a period of like 12 years in there where I was not doing much in my shop beyond smoking #weed. Then when I started doing #luthery I noticed I was having trouble with bench planes, bc the bench had developed some wobble. /1
