In the event that you have to attend because it's too late to make such an excuse. What's your best tip for leaving early?

It was quite windy there by the beach today, but those with Christmas hats managed to hang onto them. The paper plates of Samboy chips (salt&vinegar and BBQ) went flying but the big foil trays of barbecue chicken pieces stayed put. The Woolies pasta salad went down a treat but the many bowls of canned corn inexplicably remained untouched. Cans of coke were abundant as were Alfoil and the Gladwrap coverings. We wrestled with paper/cardboard utensils whilst sitting on the aluminum park benches with people who worked in the building but with whom we had never spoken. The fare was nicely topped off with home made fruitcake with generous servings of custard from cartons. Stayed for a little while before driving back to work. Still had deadlines to meet. #WorkChristmasParty #seabreeze
