I think five days sick is the wishful thinking of our management. Preferably five days overall, including all kind of reasons. That’s the maximum the economy is willing to pay on average per employee and year.

Guess they will be surprised what #covid is and will doing to the #workfoce 🙄

As the #Teachers strikes continue some Heads are becoming the #education sector equivalent of a comprador class, and by naming the #strikers to (some) unsympathetic parents have clearly been instructed to sow discord in their local #school communities.

For the Heads this looks like a long-term mistake, as antagonising further your #workfoce will cast a shadow over the return to post-strike #teaching... if Heads are choosing sides, then they need to choose their staff!
