But: the allowed heat transmission coefficent of building elements is so high that summer will turn rooms into ovens. They trust users to open windows to provide enough ventilation and cooling. They use wood pellets to heat water for a high temperature district heating system instead of having a low temperature installation.

Today I had to reboot my work laptop, which meant it installed the updates, and upgraded to Windows 11. All in all, a hour work.

Then I realized the update/upgrade had removed the teams meeting add-in from Outlook. Had a Google, tried to fix it, no go. So I opened a ticket with IT.

IT was busy for 45 minutes (in which I could not use my work laptop), and tried several times what I had already tried and a couple extra things. They did not fix it. They decided to escalate to second line.

So now I'm waiting for a solution from second line.

Just got an email from a (hvac) professional association announcing a course. Went to the website to check it. The following pictures are shown:

1. Male with t-shirt reading " FE field engineer" holding laptop working in front of a server rack
2. Female it athleisure attire, bare stomach, draped on top of a chiller
3. Typical union makes strong picture of four hands, each gripping a wrist, forming a hashtag shape. None of them "typically female"
4. Male in dark shirt, holding papers, staring at a whiteboard full of schematics / drawings.

Now can someone tell me this is not blatant sexism? I know I work in a male dominated field, but this is utter bullshit.

Dear Dutch people, please vocalize! Dutch not being my first (or second) langauge, I have a frigging hard time understanding you.

Even worse if it's on the phone, and I can't read lips (I mean, not like it's easy because you don't frigging vocalize, but I can only try) & there is plenty of background noise.

How to procrastinate in the morning and get your active minutes for the day : mow about 3/4 of the yard, that after no mow May (and part of June) had above the knee grass.

Doing it in the morning because it's cooler, and that area is in the shadow. The other 1/4 will wait to the evening when it's in the shadow.

After three months of telling the project manager that the project is fucked up and can't be done in time because the input model we get from (third party) is inaccurate regarding existing parts, contains mistakes on the new parts, and it's not correctly tagged (demolished, remaining, new...), it finally got in his head. Finally.
