Got the neon all mounted to the acrylic outside box. 6 little transformers are gonna get stuffed into that acrylic box along with some flip digits and some arduinos an a power supply.

Certainly getting made down to the wire- I go out of town to Seattle and the west coast for the summer starting in four days! So I am probably packing this up and gonna try an take it on the plane.... it might have to go underneath.

OOOO its getting down to the wire with the end of the month and I am finally getting things more wrapped up on this . I got DATA DRIVEN bent and pumped and the crew at work were instrumental in CNCing and assembling the acrylic box from a piece of acrylic scrap I saved from the trash.
So clean
so plastic
so machined!
Gonna be putting in it soon. Gotta get the interrupts working in my controlling the blinking and digits

I tackled this monster today. Practiced in clear for this one. Teeny tiny 8 mm . Just play it cool, just another job. Used only 3, expensive 5 foot tubes- not bad!

Its neat how bending deep allows you to be able to squeeze in details and just dip everything in . Bent standing on edge was a method benders at wholesale shops would use to check for straightness- this passes the test with two lines!

A little video of the blinking chaser happening for my ART LOVE MONEY sculpture topper. The fast speeds are nice for the sense of urgency when the timer is on... I think a slower fade between the colors will be nice for non timed modes.

The bottom will also be RGB- but out of sync with the top- so there should be a bit of color mixing.

Wooo! Had a fun time yesterday bending for my sculpture. Here are some life priorities. Gonna make them spin round and round✨.
Everything but the frame was made with scraps that weren't straight and it went mostly swimmingly. Maybe I would remake MONEY, but I think it's nice. LOVE was made first try and weld free- love that Aquamarine.
