I just uploaded freedombox 23.12~bpo12+1 for bookworm-backports. Since it is the first upload to bookworm-backports, it will need to be manually approved.

a lot of people who interface with designers have this impression that icon design is something so easy that children could do it, but what most people don't see is how much exploration goes into a good icon.
here's a core sample of just the first brainstorming session. literally just getting ideas on a page as they arrive.
New GenAI Goofin'.
Finally got the time to get Photoshop's #genAI plugged in, and it's neat. It's using Stability.ai as the backend, which makes for some decent but poorly LoRA'd results.
It is extremely handy to have this embedded so I can call up textures, or even work compositionally to include generative results in places and areas I choose.
Haha. All of my meetings for today cancelled, one by one, so I have the full day open to just focus on making a cool t-shirt for an upcoming event. I have finally mastered halftones, so, I can make some pretty neat screenprintable designs now.
Really feeling the urge to take another stab at doing 3D modeling in big boy tools. #worklog
I think I may have fixed my issue with Fastlane earlier. There were some entries that were cached in keychain, but it took reading the source code till I could figure out what entry to delete. I’ll probably post an issue to GitHub later to at least serve as search documentation #worklog
Not used to how quiet my job is at the moment. The end of December is usually a rush-rush time for me — lots of work to cram in and get ready for the new year. #worklog
Spent a large part of yesterday experimenting with some analytics

Still a lot of room for improvement but at least some of my basic ideas seemed to work ok. #worklog #projects
Made a bit of progress on some log parsing prototypes, but had to make a detour to fix firewall rules. It always ends up being a longer detour than expected 😅 #worklog
Spending time this afternoon sketching the composition for my company's 'Happy Holidays' post for social media.
Today's experiment: I am training a DreamBooth model of my two cats. I am curious to see how useful of a tool Stable Diffusion is if you can take the time to actually train the model on what you're trying to work with. The goal is to put my cats in regent outfits.
Spent the evening picking up my Django CalDAV server project up again. I feel like I made a bit of progress but also need to step back and re-think some of my encoding/decoding code. I may also want to revisit my choice of icalendar parser to find something that’s a bit easier to work with. #worklog #CalDAV #Django
Experimented with MQTT discovery with #HomeAssistant last night. Was nice to have a quick prototype of an idea mostly work on the first try! (a nice change from my recent #SwiftUI projects 😅 ) #worklog

Looks like a quiet day in Design-town. Building a few promotional units, then I'm gonna take some time to try and suss out an illustration style I saw on Masto earlier this week. Thinking I am gonna try and give another college try at learning more Cinema 4D and Blender. I got to a certain point where I could make some basic stuff and kinda backed off cus render times were so crazy for my M1 Mac at the time.
Messing up a sed command and spending 1.5 hours rebuilding a git repo was not a particularly fun exercise. #worklog
