I'm a new World Anvil convert and the quick creation freature is an unexpected boon to productivity. The idea of "just write a quick blurb, go back and expand it later" stops me agonizing over crafting a whole-ass article and just get lots of Content sketched in to fill out the world. Working in broad strokes and iterating is not a technique that comes naturally to me, so I'm pretty glad for the surprise lift.

After a chaotic week both in my head and outside of it, I chilled and wrote a #WorldAnvil Summer Camp prompt: A tradition/ritual that signified a transition.

So this is the Grànormii Festival, a Qalathian new-year party and ceremony. It used to signify unity between nations. Now its citizens try to reclaim some unity within the Realm.

I've passed 10k words for #NaNoCamp, plus added a bunch of character entries to my #WorldAnvil encyclopedia. My official goal is daily updates and a 20K total, not counting WA updates, so I'm quite pleased. I may end nearer 25K than 20K, but changing my goal would be asking for upheavals in my house building and medical situations... #NaNoWriMo

In case anyone's interested, my #WorldAnvil writing today was on the "prompt of" - a settlement on the edge of the "known" land.

So here's "Zykyrrn Pilkarrz". History officially records little, so people love inventing stories about it. But sometimes rumour starts from a thread of truth.

Such that the current inhabitants are feared, despite outsiders knowing practically nothing about them.
