You're still in time for a summer holiday. Why not escape the heat by going to the Abysmal Marrow. It's nice and cool and - there's no other place quite like it, literally.

If we want to get anywhere with our we need to start reexamining old tropes, and this article does a great job of dissecting the common bandit:

I could imagine a whole bandit-focused campaign.

I do with a focus away from Good/Evil and more on incompatible world views. A lot of time spent on magic as fantasy physics and its consequences.

I run a lot of and steal inspiration from the . I enjoy but don't play it much. I consider to be an acceptable if a bit complicated game. I enjoy . I use a lot of narrative ideas but I'm not overly fond of Fate or Genesys (but I do own them.)

Just completed my first game of Cartograph by @RavensridgePress. It was a really fun creative exercise.

Some character and familiar ideas Iโ€™ve seen around: a chronomancer named Previous Leon, a beaver familiar Clint Eatswood, a character that shows up at the end Denaway Mont (denouement), Avav โ€œAviโ€ c>c> Baba giant mosquito whose name is the Konami Code, a bardbarian named Waiata โ€œmusicโ€ in Mฤori (but also sounds close to the old timey threat โ€˜Why I Oughtta!โ€™).
