People at #worldeconomicforum2023 said (of course) that #greenenergy is the future; so you might expect that it would account for a rising proportion of #energy investment;
sadly you'd be wrong:

in the last 6 years, investment in #renewables has stuck at 7% of all energy #investment;
certainly there's been more in cash terms, but the proportion has stood still as there has been more in cash terms for #fossilfuel firms too...

So much for pious words in #Davos!
