Or, totally nip my nose to spite my face. Maybe this is somehow still a sweet deal, but I'd rather the country default than continue paying profitable businesses to drive us further into climate disaster. I know humanity will survive, and I expect so much better when we stop paying companies to profit on harmful & possibly unprofitable things.

#LettersFromTheFire had a really solid album with #WorthThePain, but their follow-up didn't have the same magic, and they've since broken up.

Too bad, IMO, because tracks like "One Foot In The Grave" are like catnip for me.

And whenever management wants me to come back to on-site work, this lyric comes to mind: "another sacrifice / this isn't worth my life".
