No matter how #wounded or #hurt someone else is, it is not your responsibility to tolerate their shitty behaviour.
No matter how damaged we are, hurting each other is still wrong, and people throwing smokescreen and #gaslighting arguments to the contrary are part of the problem.
Acknowledging that someone has been hurt by another has NO "buts" in it. Instead, that is two separate conversations: one where you acknowledge and support that a person has been a #victim, and a completely separate conversation, never in the same breath, about the #pain someone else is in.
