The initial setup always seems to be with random MAC address (for privacy reasons)... Only once you successfully connected to the new WiFi at least once, you can modify the connection to use the device's "real" MAC address...

Seems to be a design limitation?!

Der Mac maccert nicht mehr über „unsicheres WLAN“. Übrigens ein interessantes Phänomen. In der Fritzbox war WPA+WPA2 aktiv. In den aktiven Netzwerkgeräten war auch der Mac zu sehen und dass er WPA2 (!) verwendet. Der Mac selbst war aber der Überzeugung, er würde WPA nutzen! Lösung: in der Fritzbox auf „solo“ WPA2 umgestellt. Mac glücklich. Onkel glücklich.
