Barely any site is without #TLS now. And #WPA3 has per-user ephemeral keys specified, so it's possible to make public passwordless #wireless networks that still don't permit sniffing credentials and other data.

Only need to cover ~600 sq ft, ~6 devices with 802.11ac for now, perhaps 802.11ax later;
internet speed is not going to be close to 1 Gb/s in near future.
Only thing I want from it is to not crap out for ~10 years.
I am going to connect to a FreeBSD router. So perhaps an #WiFiAP, with #WPA3 support, would be enough (but then included router reduces 1 device to be powered)?

They say, #WPA3 should be made possible via software, so i'd really like to know, why so few devices apart from PCs and Smartphones (at least the premium ones) support it. Can't be THAT hard...
