Baby Cheryl (Barbara Jane Ashbaugh) was a Pittsburgh native. Finding no work after business school, she joined Moolah's troupe & soon was paired with her rival, Darling Dagmar.

The "Mighty Mite of Wrestling,” Baby Cheryl wrestled Dagmar at least 232 times between 1960-67, with Cheryl the vicious heel and Dagmar, known as the "Marilyn Monroe of the midgets," was a fan favorite.

The Fabulous Moolah is one wrestler who got their big break from Jack Pfefer. Originally studying under Billy Wolfe, Lillian Ellison was introduced to Pfefer by her partner, Johnny Long.

Ellison was positioned as the ring valet of the popular Buddy Rogers - a Slave Girl for a Nature Boy. The name "Moolah" was another Pfefer creation, as he told Ellison that she was all about the money - all about the moolah.
